Emissions Inspection Certification (EIC)
Program Information
What does WACTC offer?
This 8 hour course is designed for automotive technicians aspiring to become PennDot Certified. Emissions Inspectors receive special training to learn how to conduct emissions testing with properly calibrated and controlled equipment to get consistent and objective results.
*Candidates must be placed on a Certified Class Roster AND register with the state of Pennsylvania 24 hours prior to the start of class.
Directions to Register for online test.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM for 1 week.
*Emissions testing will be done at the conclusion of the second class.
*WACTC makes available a printed study guide with proof of registration for all Emissions Inspector Candidates.
